Tokyo Police Club returned to DC for a night full of indie rock favorites at DC9. The Canadian band once again delivered a performance full of fun guitar solos from Josh Hook and energetic vocals from David Monks. Although most of the night’s set was dedicated their albums Champ and their latest, TPC, released last October, they closed their set with fan favorites like “Tessellate” and “Your English is Good” from their debut album Elephant Shell.
TPC is out now through Dine Alone Records.
Oshawa, Ontario-based band Dizzy opened the night with mellow melodies and charmingly warm vocals from Katie Munshaw. The band recently won a Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year with their debut record Baby Teeth, which is out now through Royal Mountain Records.
